Help the Brt Family Name our Two New Cats

We have decided to adopt two new cats from a no-kill shelter that traffics in abandoned/disabled/special needs cats, although the ones we are getting aren’t disabled or blind or anything... I couldn’t handle looking at a cat that walks around on nubby legs all day.

Some background, they are 3 year old sisters that were abandoned by their original owners when they moved out of the country (fuck those people). A neighbor knew the cats were in there and contacted the shelter, eventually leading to their escape.

I think we want some kind of “paired” name if that makes sense, but we’re not into comics or superheros. I dunno... we are open to suggestions, but we kind of like boring people names for pets. My wife has had cats named Steve, Rick and Mother Cat in the past.

No good name suggestions here, my two cats were Bumper (emaciated kitten found cowering atop a bumper reinforcement hiding beneath the cover at a body shop one day), and Koza (Polish for goat, he loved to headbutt me in the chin showing affection).

The funny thing is that when we first adopted her, she was pitch black except for the orange strip down her nose. The older she gets (shes 7 now) the more color pops out. I adopted her despite her plain colors because she was very sweet to me when I was picking her out of a batch of kittens, but she turned out way more beautiful than I expected.
